SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of veterinary and deals with method for determining hydrogen peroxide concentration in exhaled air in animals. The method includes condensing and cooling of exhales air by means of the device for collection of exhaled air condensate (EAC) with the following determination of hydrogen peroxide concentration. To determine hydrogen peroxide concentration used is fluorometric measurement of H2O2 with irradiation wave 568 nm and emission wave 581 nm in solution based on fluorescent dye Amplex Red Ultra, where 1 mol of solution contains the following reagents: 20 mM HEPES (pH 7.4); 1 mM EDTA; 10 mcm Amplex Red Ultra; 4 unit horseradish peroxidate.

EFFECT: claimed method is a sensitive method for determining low hydrogen peroxide concentrations.
