FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for correction of irregularities of magnetic field of almost uniform main magnetic field B0 in volume of investigation of magnetic resonance device (MR). Invention consists in that currents through two or more sections (X1, X2) of coil from at least one of multiple gradient coils are adjusted to compensate non-uniformity of field of higher orders of main magnetic field B0 by magnetic field of at least one gradient coil, which is superimposed on main magnetic field B0.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of efficient correction of non-uniformity of field of higher orders of main magnetic field B0.
