SUBSTANCE: detergent composition contains a) 0.2-6 wt % additional surfactant which promotes foaming, having the formula R-O-(CH₂CH₂O)_nSO₃ ^-M⁺, where R is a branched or straight alkyl group containing 8-16 carbon atoms, n is an integer from 0 to 3, M is a cation of an alkali metal, an alkali-earth metal or ammonia; b) 0.01-5 wt % surface-active polymer containing a graft copolymer which contains a hydrophilic backbone chain and one or more hydrophobic side chains, having the following properties: (i) surface tension of 39 ppm polymer solution in distilled water ranging from 40 mN/m to 65 mN/m according to measurements taken at 25°C using a tensiometer; and (ii) viscosity of 500 ppm polymer solution in distilled water ranging from 0.0009 to 0.003 Pa.s according to measurements taken at 25°C using a rheometer; and c) 6-15 wt % of the basic surfactant system. The detergent composition contains less than 20 wt % common surfactant and less than 15 wt % detergent component selected from a group consisting of phosphate, aluminosilicate and mixture thereof.

EFFECT: invention enables to maintain foam during the washing cycle and easy washing off of foam during the rinsing cycle.
