FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to storage batteries protection at deviation from rated operating parameters, specifically to protection of battery, used in portable electronic device. For this purpose, performing obtaining of pressure on battery surface parameter, detection of quantitative ratio between pressure parameter and predetermined threshold value and generating of control instruction for battery protection implementing based on detected result. At that, detection is performed in predetermined time interval of quantitative ratios between pressure parameter and first threshold value, second threshold value and third threshold value, which are gradually increasing and based on which detected result based battery protection implementation commands are generated, such as information display command with reminder for performance of electronic equipment starting, stable failure command for performance of battery starting in order, to enter into stable failure state, sleep command for performance of battery starting in order, to enter into sleep state, recovery from sleep command for performance of battery starting in order, to recover from sleep state into normal operation state.

EFFECT: technical result is provision of security threat elimination, existing, when battery is subjected to mechanical effects, as well as reducing number of battery complete disconnection cases by its switching into sleep state and checking, if pressure parameter is recovered to value associated with normal operating condition, at which normal use can be resumed by means of battery removal from sleep state.
