SUBSTANCE: device for the methane concentration measurement in a mixture of gases is based on the simultaneous absorption measurement on a large set of vibrational-rotational spectral lines. The above is ensured by performing channel diffractive element as a set of transparent optical fibers and due to the use between the optical fibers outputs and the combiner of the optical light amplitudes control device made in the form of a transparency with the transmission corresponding to each of the channels to control the contour shape of the lines of a formed combined signal.

EFFECT: increased sensitivity of detecting methane in the atmosphere and improved accuracy of measuring the concentration due to high spectral selectivity and the possibility of using the majority of the molecular spectral lines.
