FIELD: data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention describes a system and method for near-field magnetic stripe data transmitting (MST) with the help of device, which transmits the payment card data from a smart-phone or other electronic device to a terminal at the point of sale (POS-terminal). MST-device comprises a moving mechanism and an induction coil. MST-device receives the magnetic strip data, containing the payment card data, processes the magnetic strip data and emits high-power pulses containing the processed magnetic strip data, which are being remotely perceived by a magnetic strip reading device on the POS-terminal.

EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability of data transmission.
