FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: modified polynucleotide is proposed, encoding a transketolase (Tkt), wherein the initiating polynucleotide codon is replaced by ATG. An expression vector comprising the said modified polynucleotide is presented. Corynebacterium genus modified microorganism for L-lysine production is presented, which has an increased transketolase activity compared to its endogenous activity, where the initiating codon of the transketolase encoding polynucleotide is replaced by ATG.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows to obtain L-lysine with high productivity.
