SUBSTANCE: corynebacterium genus microorganism with improved ability to produce L-lysine and a method for producing l-lysine using same are provided. This corynebacterium genus microorganism is Corynebacterium glutamicum, in which protein-initiator of the septum formation is inactivated, wherein said protein-initiator of septum formation is a filament temperature-sensitive protein B (FtsB). Method of production of l-lysine involves culturing of said microorganism in culture medium and recovering l-lysine from a microorganism or culture medium.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides increased production of l-lysine.
