METHODS AND DEVICES FOR ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT FORMATION ON OPHTHALMIC DEVICES Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G02C7/08 A61F9/00

Abstract RU 2615590 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: this invention discloses an ophthalmic device with power supply and built-in low-power modes. In some embodiments, bearing inserts with built-in low-power modes are disclosed. The ophthalmic device with power supply includes a power source, integrated into the bearing insert, an electrical load, electrical connection medium for electrical load communication with the power source, at that, the power source and the electric load are part of an electronic circuit, the first switching mechanism. The first switching mechanism incorporated in the electronic circuit comprises a plurality of modes including at least the first save mode and operating mode, where in the first storage mode, the ophthalmic device with power supply is transferred to the state with lower power consumption than in the operating mode. At that, the first switching mechanism introduces additional resistance to limit the amount of current flowing through the electrical load when the ophthalmic device with power supply is in the first saving mode, while the first switching mechanism is sensitive to the first stimulus outside the ophthalmic device with power supply.

EFFECT: invention provides improved energy saving and extended life of the ophthalmic device.
