FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: cloudy cornea is consecutively excised with simultaneous imposition of provisional nodal joints, a temporary spherical transparent keratoprosthesis of the required diameter is placed on the cornea top and sutured with interrupted sutures to the recipient cornea edge, some sutures are loosened to remove provisional sutures holding the excised cornea, the cornea is removed from under the temporary keratoprosthesis, the previously loosened seams are tied again; under the temporary keratoprosthesis, the cloudy lens is removed by phacoemulsification and an intraocular lens is implanted in the capsular bag; sutures are removed from the temporary keratoprosthesis and the keratoprosthesis is removed, a through corneal graft is then placed into the wound and sutured to the edge of the recipient cornea.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce operational and post-operative complications, improve the efficiency of affected eye optical system treatment.
