FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, specifically to synthesis of dialkylcyclopent-3-en-1,1-dicarboxylate, which may be used as a copolymer, substrate in fine organic synthesis, namely an initial reagent for the synthesis of cyclopentenecarboxylic acid, a dienophile in Diels-Alder reaction. The method comprises alkylation of malonic ester with cis-1,4-dichlorobutene in the presence of triethylbenzylammonium chloride as catalyst at a temperature of 60°C for 4 hours.
EFFECT: method for producing dialkylcyclopent-3-en-1,1-dicarboxylate, improved target product quality and yield.
