SUBSTANCE: group of inventions includes electromechanical toothbrush (versions) and processor for use in electromechanical toothbrush, relates to medical equipment and is applicable in dental cleaning. Electromechanical toothbrush comprises handle, drive assembly and miniature gyroscope. Drive assembly comprises processor for bringing toothbrush head is actuated with selected oscillation frequency of toothbrush head and toothbrush head movement amplitude, wherein drive assembly is located inside handle. Miniature gyroscope is installed at least on toothbrush head and at part of drive assembly inside handle, wherein miniature gyroscope serves for detection of angular speed of toothbrush head, when toothbrush head operates in mouth of user. Processor is configured to process information on angular velocity, received from gyroscope in order to provide information on amplitude of toothbrush head movement and said information on movement of toothbrush head is at least one, selected from group consisting of information provided to user and information used to control operation of toothbrush head.

EFFECT: invention enables to determine amplitude of toothbrush head movement during its real operation in oral cavity.
