SUBSTANCE: terminal-modified difunctional sulfur-containing polymer is a reaction product of the sulfur-containing polymer and the compound containing terminal groups selected from the vinyl group, silyl group, amino group, thiol group and epoxy group, and a group that interacts with the terminal hydroxyl groups of the sulfur-containing polymer. In the formula of the terminal-modified sulfur-containing polymer n is an integer selected from 1-50; each of p in all positions is either 1 or 2; each of R¹ are independently selected from C_2-6 of alkanediyl ; each of R² is independently selected from hydrogen, C_1-6 of alkyl, C_7-12 of phenylalkyl substituted by C_7-12 of phenylalkyl, C_6-12 of cycloalkylalkyl substituted by C_6-12 of cycloalkylalkyl, C_3-12 of cycloalkyl, substituted by C_3-12 of cycloalkyl, C_6-12 and aryl substituted by C_6-12 of aryl; and each of R³ is -OR³', where R³' is selected from the terminal vinyl group, terminal silyl group, terminal amino group, terminal epoxy group and terminal thiol group. Arrangement for sealing comprises a terminal-modified polymer and a curing agent. The sealant is used to seal the openings.

EFFECT: invention provides fuel-proof compositions and obtain a sealant which has a percent of volume swell not more than 40 percent, a good elongation and a lap shear strength.
