FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre-optic connectors installed on operation site. Fibre-optic connector has fibre-optic cable connection unit and connected to it fibre-optic cable fixation unit. Fixation unit includes hollow housing and cover, corresponding to said housing so, that when cover closes hollow housing inner space for fibre-optic cable accommodation and fixation is developed. At that, hollow housing and cover are made on fibre-optic cable fixing unit one end. Said unit has threaded connecting part, together with hollow housing forming external thread and having through hole communicated with inner space, through which fibre without sheathing is passing.
EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of fibre-optic connector, which can be used for different types of fibre-optic cables, for example, for fixation of various types and sizes fibre-optic cables.
