SUBSTANCE: invention relates to N-hudroxilsulfonamide
derivatives, wherein R1 is represented by H; R2 is representrd by H; R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 are independently selected from the group consisting of H, F, alkylsulfonyl, and OCF3, provided that: (1) at least one of R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 is other than H; (2), at least one of R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 is other than F; and (3) when R3, R4, R6 and R7 are represented by H, R5 is other than F, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, which release nitroxyl (HNO) under physiological conditions.
EFFECT: invention is useful for treatment and/or prevention of the occurrence and/or development of diseases or conditions responsive to nitroxyl therapy, including ischemia/reperfusion injury and heart failure.
