FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: in a method of pumping formation fluid by electric-centrifugal pump installation the range of gas liquid mixture supplies is determined, inlet outer diameter of gas separator screw and inner diameter of screw sleeve are calculated for each range value preliminary before electric-centrifugal pump installation arrangement in well. Then the installation is packed with lot of calculated screws and sleeves for each supply value within one well dimension. All the sleeves and screws are made of identical blanks - of one sleeve blank type and one screw casting type.

EFFECT: reduction or complete stop of return flows inside the gas separator relative to the main flow of the formation fluid and formation fluid stratification into phases, which eventually protects the inside surface of the gas separator housing against wear, improves reliability and reduces the cost of gas separator manufacturing, maintains the value of largest possible gas content in gas-liquid abrasive mixture.
