FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and can be used in installations of submersible electric centrifugal pumps with submersible electric motors in casing, pumping from wells gas-liquid mixtures with high content of gas. According to the method of separation of the submersible electric centrifugal pump gas with the submersible electric motor in the casing, in the wells with the large gas factor the submersible electric motor with the hydraulic protection, which is cooled by the pumped liquid, is equipped with the external tight casing, which is hermetically connected to electric centrifugal pump input module and is configured to isolate reception of pump from annular space. Below the housing of the submersible electric motor there is a gas separator which is tightly connected to the lower part of the sealed housing with the possibility of transmitting torque from the shaft of the submersible electric motor to the shaft of the gas separator and hydraulically connected to the cavity of the pipe string of the shank. Method comprises feeding gas-liquid mixture into gas separator, swirling gas-liquid mixture flow, separation of flow with subsequent removal of separated gas into annular space and supply of degassed liquid into sealed case of submersible electric motor with hydraulic protection and input module of electric centrifugal pump.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of submersible electric centrifugal pump operation with submersible electric motor in casing for oil production from wells with high gas content.
