SUBSTANCE: universal regenerative rotary air heater comprising a box equipped with an upper hot side of the gas compartment flue gas inlet pipe, a cold lower side - the expander equipped with a pyramidal bottom, demister and socket flue gas exit nozzles entry and exit of air in a box placed rotor radial partitions constituting radial cell, in which the section has accumulative filled packing made of heat of the material, and radial basket of cleaning sections with perforated bottom, filled with granules of pumice. In each radial cell, radial baskets of accumulative section are alternately stacked and filled with packing of cylindrical rings, and radial section of the cleaning basket filled with granules of pumice. Air compartment box is formed two-way through the air, the upper side is provided with the overflow chamber with flushing fitting and the lower side is provided with the air inlet pipe, an expander, and demister air outlet nozzle.

EFFECT: reduction of corrosive wear of the packing.
