FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: identification method based on mass spectrometry includes the first stage, whereat determination of mass spectrum characteristic neutral molecule HX component (characteristic subspectrum) of the test compound and its structure to define the whole structure of 2-dialkyl aminoethyl group from the complete mass spectrum of electronic ionization. Next, negatively charged ions are analyzed and recorded at an ionization energy of 4 eV. The weight of selected dialkyl 2-aminoethyl group is added to greatest intensity peak in the mass spectrum of negative ions, and compound molecular weight is established. Further the weight of the maximum (as per mass number) peak of the negative ions mass spectrum is subtracted from the molecular weight, thereby establishing O-alkyl radical weight and structure. Alkyl radical weight is the last to be established by deduction from the characteristic ion, defined based on the positively charged ions mass spectrum, O-alkyl radical and phosphonothiolate group (PO2S) weight.
EFFECT: increased reliability of phosphonothiolate compounds identification in complex mixtures, expanded functionality of the mass-spectrometric method.
