FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a method for pyrolysis of hydrocarbon raw materials in presence of water vapor. Method includes physical and chemical water treatment for preparation of vapor and is characterized by the fact that water treatment is carried out in cathode chamber of electrolyzer with ceramic ultrafiltration diaphragm until the value of oxidation-reduction potential of treated water reaches minus 50 - minus 600 mV relatively to chlorine-silver reference electrode.
EFFECT: application of the suggested method allows to reduce raw material and vapor consumption with preserved quantitative output of target products or increased output of target products.
