SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of active antennas with the phase adjustment. A method of calibrating a phase center of the active antenna (20) comprising a plurality of sub-elements (21) capable to receive a useful signal emitted by the satellite (25) is proposed. Wherein the said calibration is determined depending on the gain and phase ratio at the reception of the reference signal at each sub-element level (21). The said reference signal is emitted by the same satellite (25) in a frequency band substantially equal to the useful signal frequency band, and its theoretical phase and amplitude received are known.
EFFECT: invention provides a simplified calibration.
