FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: clinical examination of the patient is performed after orthodontic treatment completion, in the dental chair. An orthopantomography is obtained before and after treatment, anteroposterior and profile photos of the patient's face before and after treatment, history of patient's orthodontic disease, mastication-speech apparatus dysfunction is assessed, face and smile aesthetic, articulation and occlusal relationships, malocclusion in sagittal, vertical and transversal directions, state of periodontal tissue and teeth hard tissue, duration of orthodontic treatment and TMJ condition for patients after complete orthodontic treatment are evaluated. Assessment is carried out on the proposed algorithm based on tables filled by the doctor and structured as three blocks: assessment of theorthodontic treatment outcome quality, assessment of orthodontic treatment process, assessment of medical records, filling of which provides the conclusion on orthodontic treatment results.

EFFECT: method allows to assess the orthodontic treatment quality by quantifying the quality of orthodontic treatment outcomes, orthodontic treatment process and medical records management, and to improve the quality of dental-maxilla-facial anomaliesdiagnosis and quality of orthodontic treatment outcomes.
