SUBSTANCE: gear wheel contains a hub, a body in the form of spokes, a rim and a toothed ring, along the outer surface of the hub and the inner surface of the rim are stiffeners connecting the ends of the spokes to each other. From both ends of the wheel on the outer end surfaces of spokes and stiffeners, a pair of flat annular overlays are fixed, covering the apertures between the hub and the rim with stiffeners and adjacent spokes.
