FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: steel is melted containing, by mass %: carbon 0.04÷0.05, manganese 1.9÷2.0, silicon 0.22÷0.25, niobium 0.07÷0.09, titanium 0.02÷0.025 aluminium 0.025÷0.03, nitrogen 0.005÷0.007, sulfur 0.001÷0.002, phosphorus 0.006÷0.008, boron 0.0015÷0.002, iron is the rest, continuous steel casting in slabs, austenization at 1,050÷1,100°C, rough rolling with deformation 12÷20% in the range of austenite recrystallization temperatures, the final is in the range of complete recrystallization inhibition with a total deformation degree of 70÷80%, accelerated cooling at its completion temperature 350÷450°C and induction tempering at a temperature of 620±10°C.

EFFECT: increased rolling strength with improved hardenability, ductility and toughness.
