FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: furnace includes a housing formed with refractory external side, front and rear end walls, two inclined platforms, two baths restricted by bottoms, a roof and walls, two tap holes, a gas duct and a welded frame on which all parts are arranged. The framework is laid inside with lightweight brick of "ШЛ-1.0" grade, two inclined platforms and two baths made of mullite blocks of "МКП-72" brand laid on three layers of asbest cardboard. The steel frame is welded to the furnace frame, having a thermal insulation between it and each wall, consisting of fireclay chips, fireproof wool, a triple layer of sheet asbestos cardboard and asbestos tailings, roofs above the inclined platforms, and above the first and second baths, the furnaces have a layer with double heat-insulating coating, and a double layer of refractory insulating mats and a layer of diatom brick are laid on top of it. The furnace has six double row injection six-mixer burners aimed at the inclined platforms, and the ten-row injection six mixer burners aimed at the bottoms. The furnace has four working windows, two of which are the slag window, and the device for lifting and lowering of the furnace and the slag window flap comprises an electric drive. The furnace has a rail-tracked platform with mounted on it two swivel attached steel spouts and a two-stage gas and dust treatment station to achieve an environmentally friendly process.
EFFECT: high furnace efficiency, reduced heat and burn-off losses and possibility of ecologically clean remelting of aluminium scrap.
