FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to tandem reflecting furnace with forehearth for remelting of aluminum scrap. Furnace is equipped with a hog and an economiser placed in it in the form of a welded spiral of box-shaped stainless steel, an injection three-row sixty-mixer burner of medium pressure, installed in each side wall of the furnace and directed at an angle to the inclined platform and at an angle to the axis of the furnace, and six three-row 18-mixers, installed in rear wall of furnace and directed at an angle to bottom and covered with corundum blocks, gas duct of forehearth is connected to furnace boa to form common gas duct, one branch of which is connected to stack, and the other one – with a dust-and-gas cleaning system, and the dust-and-dust treatment plant consists of four identical units combined into a single structure, in each unit of which two rotary loading grids and bag filters are installed.
EFFECT: invention ensures high efficiency of the furnace, reduces losses of heat and waste and enables to carry out environmentally safe remelting of aluminum scrap due to reduction of gas emissions to atmosphere.
