SUBSTANCE: device comprises relatedness determinant for comparison of generating element with a set of additional elements and determining relatedness value for each additional element relative to the generating element, clustering mechanism for clustering additional elements by determining the relative relatedness among additional elements. Each additional element is assigned to one cluster, list generator for generating sorted list of results by sorting the additional elements according to their relatedness value and the cluster they belong to, as soon as the item is added to the sorted list. Item to be added to the sorted list is selected based on the cluster with the highest ranking and the element with the highest connectivity within the selected cluster. Ranking of the selected cluster for a number of additional selection cycles is reduced relative to other clusters.

EFFECT: ability to automatically generate a sorted list of elements.
