SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a system and method for automatic clustering and displaying data elements in a local or remote system with a data base. Clustering can be based on properties related to data elements, such as type, location, people, date, time, user defined property etc. The initial property can be used to create the first clustering level, and the next property can be defined automatically, so as to optimise clustering, from which the required information should be searched and extracted. There is a computerised interface for sorting and extracting data. The interface can include a property analyser so as to determine distribution of elements for at least two cluster properties, and an organiser, which creates new clusters, partially based on distribution of elements.
EFFECT: invention simplifies search and extraction of data.
