SUBSTANCE: food composition according to the present invention has the total caloric value of 67 kcal/100 ml or less, contains protein of 1.25 g/100 ml or less, wherein the caloric value due to protein is 7.23-8.4% of the total caloric value of the food composition, and caloric value due to fat is at least 49% or more of the total caloric value of the food composition. The content of medium chain fatty acids containing from 8 to 10 carbon atoms in the composition is less than 3 wt % from the total amount of fatty acids; the sialic acid content is 10-25 mg/100 ml or more; the cholesterol content is 10.5 mg/100 ml, and the sphingomyelin content is 9-15 mg/100 ml or more. The food composition in the form of a ready beverage comprises dry sweet whey in an amount of 32-40 kg/8770 l, sodium caseinate in an amount of 4.6-5.7 kg/8770 l, skimmed milk powder in an amount of 66-81 kg/8770 l, dry whey protein concentrate with a high content of phospholipids in an amount of 47-58 kg/8770 l, dry cream in an amount of 117-143 kg/8770 l, as well as additional nutrients and water. As an embodiment, the composition may be presented in the form of a dry powder composition.

EFFECT: obtaining the dry powder composition and the use of the composition in the diet of children in order to achieve development and growth, similar to the growth and development of breastfed children.
