FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: catalyst is proposed for the non-hydrogen dewaxing of a hydrocarbon feedstock based on a modified aluminosilicate zeolite of the MFI structure, characterised by a molar ratio of SiO2/Al2O3, equal to 23-130, the residual content of sodium ions is less than 0.1%, the presence of modifying metals in an amount of 0.5-1.5 wt %. Modifier metals are present in the pores of the zeolite in the form of water-insoluble compounds and are selected from the group Fe, Cr, Al, Zn, or a combination thereof. A method for the dewaxing of a hydrocarbon feedstock using the inventive catalyst is also provided.

EFFECT: implementation of the proposed group of inventions provides increased activity and stability of the catalyst, increasing the yield of a qualitative target product in the dewaxing of raw materials with increasing process productivity.
