VEHICLE, CONTAINING THE ELECTRICAL ENERGY STORAGE DEVICE, COOLING BY FAN Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC B60H1/00

Abstract RU 2617871 C1

FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: vehicle contains the electrical energy storage device for storing, temperature sensors, fan, air conditioning system, controller with the ability to control the fan. When the device temperature (Tb) for the electric energy storage device (10) is greater or equal than the reference temperature (Tb_th), the fan (22) is actuated with the air flow rate (Q) which is greater or equal to the reference air flow rate (Q_ref). When the temperature (Tb) of the device is below the reference temperature (Tb_th), the air, which received the heat from the electrical energy storage device is directed into the outlet chamber (LS) by driving the fan (22) at the air flow rate (Q), which is less than the reference flow rate (Q_ref), if the air conditioning system is operating and if the temperature (Tout) of external air is less or equal to the predetermined temperature (Tout_low). When the air conditioning system is operating, and the outside air temperature (Tout) is less or equal to the predetermined temperature (Tout_low), it is assumed, that there is the temperature difference between the passenger compartment and the outlet chamber (LS). By driving the fan (22) at the air flow rate (Q_ref), which is less than the reference air flow rate (Q), it's possible to bring the temperature of the outlet chamber (LS) close to the temperature of the passenger compartment by increasing the outlet chamber (LS) temperature, respectively, it's possible to reduce the temperature difference between the outlet chamber (LS) and the passenger compartment.

EFFECT: possibility to correct the temperature of the passenger compartment and the trunk.
