FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to methods and systems for controlling heat accumulation device of vehicle system. In one example, the method comprises steps of: assessing temperature of the heat accumulator after achieving thermal equilibrium between the battery and the coolant contained therein and determining battery charge degree by temperature estimation result and one or more chemical properties of two materials with phase transition, contained in accumulator, wherein the heat accumulator can comprise two materials with a phase transition with different melting points to provide heat energy for heating the coolant in the coolant system of the vehicle.
EFFECT: higher degree of evaluation of reliability of charge of thermal accumulator is technical result of invention.
