FIELD: physics, instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metrology, in particular to the gas control means. The device comprises a transmitter unit and a sensor unit. The transmitter unit has a display, a memory element, a processor, an expansion circuit, a power supply interface, a control circuitry and a programming and testing circuitry for a transmitter, a spark protection circuitry based on Zener diode, a PCB interface. The sensor has a memory circuit, a processor, sensing elements, a signal conditioning circuitry. Also, the device contains a supply regulation circuit provided with two potentiometers for adjusting the high and low voltage, respectively. The transmitter processor is adapted to compare the sensor voltage with the reference voltage for determining voltage regulation on the sensor. Also, the device includes an amplifier connected to the sensor to generate gain settings that are used to optimize the sensor definitions by changing the value of the sensor gain. This enables the use of one sensor for a plurality of different concentration ranges.
EFFECT: invention provides the increased range of sensitivity variation.
