FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: beam barring device for fixing carriages comprises two guide bars mounted along the rails in the railway track gauge, one of which is equipped with spring units with a brake rail mounted with the possibility of transverse horizontal movement by means of a drive on the bases rigidly fixed on the neck of the rail adjacent thereto, and the longitudinal link kinematically connected to the spring units. Other guide beam symmetrically located about the longitudinal axis of the gauge railway track is equipped with the spring units with the brake rail mounted with the possibility of transverse horizontal movement by means of a drive on the bases rigidly fixed on the neck of the rail adjacent thereto. Wherein the springs in the spring units are installed in the horizontal transverse plane at respective rods between the outer vertical wall of the guide beam from the brake rail and the vertical wall of the respective supports symmetrically located on the bases inside the gauge railway track.

EFFECT: operation stability, increased carriage braking performance.
