FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to track braking devices and may be used for automation of braking and forced rejection of spontaneously running cars. Proposed device comprises braking bar arranged inside track along one rail and counterrail arranged along another rail. Said braking bar is attached by sliding nuts and bolts on bases fixed on rail neck and slippers and equipped with springs thrusting against movable rod coupled with lever mechanism coupled, in its turn, with electric drive. Springs are provided with adjustable devices. Movable rod is furnished with cams and return mechanism for formed displacement of the bar across the track. Spring adjustable devices are provided with revolving rolls thrusting against movable rod with cams in bar transfer into working or idle position. Electric drive incorporates check tie rod and braking bar position control levers.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of braking.
