FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an apparatus for determining gas concentrations: sulfur oxides (SOx) Contained in exhaust gases from an internal combustion engine. The device of determining gas concentration comprises determining a gas concentration unit and the electronic control unit. The determining gas concentrations element includes a first electrochemical cell and the second electrochemical cell. The electronic control unit is configured to determine the concentration of the sulfur oxide contained in the test gas based on the obtained first predetermined values matched to the current flowing through the first electrochemical cell, when the first removes the voltage applied to the second electrochemical cell and measuring the voltage applied to the first electrochemical element.
EFFECT: possibility of gas concentration - sulfur oxide contained in the exhaust gas with the highest degree of accuracy possible by use of the gas analyzer of the limiting current.
