SUBSTANCE: device (2) is attached to support structure. Device comprises a support part (6) to be attached to a support structure, a brush (12) and an electric motor (22) with a brush rotatable about an axis (14). Sensor (34) of rotation is arranged to interact with a brush. Brush can also be rotated by externally applied force. Sensor of rotation is arranged to determine rotational movement of the brush around its axis, caused by externally applied force. For the operation of the device for brushing, rotational movement of the brush around its axis of rotation is caused by externally applied force. Rotational movement of the brush around its axis is detected by the sensor of rotation. Electric motor is used for rotating the brush around its axis of rotation.
EFFECT: brush rotation start is initiated by a small animal.
