SUBSTANCE: disclosed is rotary animal brush (6) having a longitudinal length and comprising a rotating rod part (11) with a plurality of bristles (12), each having first end (12a) connected to rod portion (11), and second free end (12b) located in position radially outward from first end (12a) relative to axis (6c) of brush (6) rotation. Brush (6) comprises at least one protective element (13), rigidly connected with rod part (11) with possibility of rotation, wherein at least one protective element is flexible and extends radially outward from rod part (11) and wherein protective element (13) forms the outer hair guiding portion (13b) of the surface along the longitudinal length of the brush.
EFFECT: rotary animal brush is disclosed.
