METHOD FOR PLASTIC REPAIR OF ATROPHIED LOWER ALVEOLAR PROCESS Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61C8/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: incision is performed along the lower jaw alveolar ridge. A full mucoperiosteal graft is detached in layers. An L-shaped bone autotransplant is taken corresponding to the length of the recipient area in the lower jaw retromolar area using a piezo-surgical apparatus. The L-shaped bone autotransplant obtains a modified L-shape through creation of an additional L-shaped stage in the transplant apical area, with size corresponding to the recipient area. The recipient area is perforated in several places, the bone autotransplant is fitted and fixed with titanium microscrews. The resulting undercuts are filled with a mixture of autologous bone chips and osteoplastic synthetic material, covered by a collagen resorbable membrane. Muco-periosteal flap is mobilized. The wound is closed with interrupted sutures. The resulting defect in the recipient area is filled with osteoplastic material and covered by a collagen membrane. The wound is closed with interrupted sutures. The method allows to ensure bone autotransplant volume stability for the period of its integration, to increase the area of bone autotransplant contact with the recipient area of the lower jaw atrophied alveolar ridge and to create conditions for dental implantation.

EFFECT: piezo surgical device application reduces surgery trauma.
