FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: in the proposed method, cavity-forming bimetallic element is taken in the form of a tube with an outer layer thickness 0.8-1.2 mm of niobium, with the inner layer thickness 4-5 mm of titanium and disposed coaxially inside the central cavity-forming element of glass with a wall thickness 10-15 mm and with an outer diameter smaller by 2-4 mm of the inner diameter of the cavity-formingbimetallic element, the gap therebetween is filled with an aqueous filling, after sealing, the resulting assembly is coaxially placed inside a tubular bimetallic sheath made with an outer layer thickness 3-4 mm of titanium, with an inner layer thickness 0.8-1.2 mm of Niobium, in the gap between, a tubular intermediate copper layer is coaxially disposed with a wall thickness 1.5-2.5 mm and explosion is acrried out by welding on regulated modes.
EFFECT: during a single act of explosive impact, an all-welded composite product is received of cylindrical shape with an internal cavity, without axial symmetry violations and metal layers integrity.
