FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: multiscreen display device is proposed, in which the master computing unit, which is the first in the transmission sequence, calculates the coordinates of a plurality of video display devices on the split screen, based on the layout information and transmission sequence. The computing unit calculates an identification number based on the identification information setting rule. The setting unit performs processing to set the identification number of each video display device with the calculated coordinates for said video display device.
EFFECT: providing the possibility for a multiscreen display device to set identification numbers for display devices.
