SUBSTANCE: method for an area identification that comprises identifying a predetermined edge in an identifier image, when n assumed predetermined edges have been identified, identifying, at least, one information area in the identifier image based on the target predetermined edge, determining one of the n assumed predetermined edges as the target predetermined edges, sorting n of supposed given edges; an attempt to identify the target information area in the identifier image using the i-th estimated predetermined edge and the first relative location, if the target information area has been successfully identified, determining the i-th presumed preset edge as the target-specified edge; and if the target information area is not identified, the target i as i+1 and the attempt step repeatition to identify the target information area in the image ID using the i-th specified alleged edge and the first relative positioning.
EFFECT: expanding the arsenal of image processing tools.
