SUBSTANCE: cut-down approach for pacemaker implantation is made 10 cm above the Poupart 's ligament in the projection of the vascular bundle. A bed for pacemaker is formed underexternal abdominal oblique aponeurosis. An electrode is carried by puncture of the external iliac vein, followed by fixation of the electrode to the soft tissues below the puncture site. The pacemaker is immersed in the bed and sutured to theinternal abdominal oblique.

EFFECT: method enables to provide the possibility of pacemaker implantation for permanent stimulation in patients with thrombosis or anatomical abnormalities of superior vena cava structure and its tributaries and reduction of operative and postoperative complications.
