FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic 3D anemometer with a functioning control channel relates to measurement equipment, namely to devices for determination of wind speed, based on use of acoustic measurement method. Device consists of unit for generation of electric pulses, unit of electroacoustic transducers, which form three measuring acoustic channels, unit for measuring time of flight of acoustic pulses, a unit for calculating wind speed components and a display unit, as well as an additional unit for calculating ultrasonic air temperature, a unit for averaging data on ultrasonic temperature of air, a contact air temperature sensor, temperature comparison unit and sunshine sensor, wherein unit for calculating ultrasonic air temperature is connected by its input (parallel to unit for calculating wind velocity components) to output of acoustic pulse travel time measuring unit, and by the output to the averaging unit, the output of which in turn is connected to 1st (signal) input of the temperature comparison unit, besides, contact temperature sensor located nearby the zone of location of acoustic channels is connected to the third (signal) input of the temperature comparison unit, to the second (control) input of which the sunshine sensor is connected, wherein the output of the temperature comparison unit is connected to the second input of indication unit.

EFFECT: optimization of metrological checks of an ultrasonic anemometer, increased time between verifications.
