FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: procedure comprises stages whereon: insulation compound is prepared in a volume exceeding well internal volume from the bottom hole to the upper boundary ofperforation interval. Then a grout pipe string is descended into the well, the insulation compound is filled into the well at least to the upper boundary of perforation interval with overflush. Then the grout pipe string is extracted from the well. The insulation compound is left for curing. After curing of the insulation compound drilling out of the insulation compound is carried out and formation exposing is carried out by conservative perforation of the well in the uppermost part of the formation. Wherein dimensions of the new perforation interval are determined according to the oil and water content ratio in production obtained from this well before performingwater shutoff treatment. Wherein the ratio of oil and water occurrence areas in the old interval is taken equal to the oil and water content ratio in the abovementioned well production. Also, the dimension of the new perforation interval is set equal to or greater than the dimension of the oil occurrence area in the old perforation interval.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of performing water shutoff treatment in well.
