FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: according to method, before carrying out the water shutoff treatment, the size of the new perforation interval is determined by the oil and water ratio in the well production. The insulating compound is prepared in a volume exceeding the internal volume of the well from the bottom hole to the upper limit of the perforation interval. The grout pipe string is lowered into the well. The insulating compound is poured into the well at least up to the upper limit of the perforation interval with the overflush in the formation. The insulating compound with different mobility values is poured into different levels of the perforation interval. Then the grout pipe string is extracted from the well. The insulating compound is left till it is cured. It is hold for time additional to the time for curing the insulating compound, to lower the water cone. After the time of curing the insulating compound and the time of lowering the water cone has expired, the insulating compound is drilled out. The formation is opened by gently perforating the well in the uppermost part of the formation. Before pouring the insulating compound, the inner space of the well is filled below the upper limit of the perforation interval with the jamming compound through the grout pipe string. A blind plug is lowered into the well and installed below the upper limit of the perforation interval.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of carrying out water shutoff treatment in a well.
