FIELD: shipbuilding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, namely, to electric power plants of vessels with electric propulsion systems of both civil and navy. Electric power plant of vessel with electric propulsion system includes main primary thermal engine, control system, frequency converter, propulsion motor, three three-phase automatic circuit breakers with electromagnetic drive from control system. Additionally, the plant comprises main distribution board, additional automatic switches with electromagnetic drive from control system, power supply board of external consumers, powerful consumers, auxiliary diesel generator, board of users of own needs, matching transformer, consumers of own needs, power board from shore, matching electric converter and energy accumulator. Winding of the main electric generator through the first additional circuit breaker is connected to the main switchboard, to which are connected: input of the frequency converter; additional power supply board of external consumers is connected through the second additional automatic circuit breaker; through the third additional automatic circuit breaker – powerful consumers used at parking or at movement of a vessel at low speed, to output of frequency converter through fourth additional automatic circuit breaker, matching transformer and fifth additional automatic circuit breaker – power supply board of consumers of auxiliary needs, to which are connected: via sixth additional automatic circuit breaker – auxiliary diesel-generator; through seventh additional circuit breaker – power supply board from shore; through a matching electrical energy storage converter; consumers of own needs.

EFFECT: improved functional and operational characteristics.
