FIELD: shipbuilding; electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the power plants on ships. Vessel power plant contains the main primary heat engine mechanically connected to the synchronous generator, on which stator isolated from each other three-phase windings are arranged, frequency converter, propulsion motor, on which stator isolated from each other three-phase windings are arranged, which number is equal to the number of generator windings, control system, voltage sensor, three-phase contactors with the electromagnetic drive, which number is twice the number of the generator windings plus one. Frequency converter input is connected to the generator first winding terminals, the frequency converter output is connected to the first three-phase contactor power input, which power output is connected to the electric motor first winding. Three-phase contactors form reversing starters. Each reversing starter power input is connected to the generator corresponding winding terminals, and each reversing starter power output is connected to the motor corresponding winding. Control system outputs are connected to the three-phase contactors inputs and to the generator excitation winding.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in the electric power plant operational characteristics.
