FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: acoustic liner that contains from 5 to about 25 weight percent of bicomponent spunbond fibers from 3 to 30 mm in length, and from about 75 to 95 weight percent of inorganic fiber batt, where the acoustic density of the liner is from about 1 to 4 lb / ft3. A method for reducing noise by means of placing the said acoustic liner along the external surface of the building. The invention is developed in the dependent claims of the formula.
EFFECT: better sound absorption, stiffness and quality of the board surface.
