FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: acoustic tile containing wet-filled mineral fiber base, nonwoven porous fiberglass canvas glued to base and coated with light-reflecting air-permeable coating, wherein at least 90 wt. % of base is mineral wool and binder, wherein the weight of the binder is less than 1/11 of the mass of mineral fibers, the density of bases is from about 11.4 pounds per cubic foot (182.6 kg/m3) to about 14.2 pounds per cubic foot (227.5 kg/m3), average diameter of mineral fiber is 4.5 to 8.3 micron, and composite of said base, canvas and coating.

EFFECT: technical result is providing a tile, having good noise reduction factor - NRC and a sound wave energy reduction factor - CAC.
